Justine is a highly regarded senior yoga teacher. She has had over 20 years of yoga practice, including over a decade of owning and operating three yoga studios. She incorporates yoga, earthing, mentoring and principles of breathwork and coaching into her signature offering ‘The Remedy’ which is a system that Justine has developed utilising her expertise and through her own experiences of ‘falling and flying’. She works with clients who are looking to kickstart or shift gears and are seeking transformation and change. Throughout her career, Justine has developed and nurtured yoga communities, written and facilitated yoga teacher training, run retreats within Australia and internationally, mentored yoga teachers, and worked one-on-one with clients and groups including corporate, schools and sporting teams. She brings a wealth of experience from her own yoga training including training with Sarah Powers (Insight Yoga), Jo Phee, Power Living Australia Yoga and Baptiste Yoga and has facilitated power yoga and yin yoga teacher training through Power Yoga Canberra. A lifelong student, Justine is currently learning more about somatic experiencing and how we store experiences in our bodies to further deepen her knowledge. As a yoga teacher, Justine’s approach is masterful – using intelligent sequencing, skilful cueing and powerful healing assists. She teaches from an embodied wisdom, weaving integrated philosophy into her teaching to create a transformational experience for students. Through her teaching, mentoring and facilitation, Justine helps to shine a light on that balance between sovereign unique expression and the fundamental value of connection and collaboration – we are all in this together! This system was lovingly crafted from Justine’s own experience of turbulent times and how these have served as the gateway to discovering her own superpowers. Awareness of our own challenges is often not enough. We can remain stuck in the looping pattern of our story, repeating similar themes within our relationships, careers and lives resulting in frustration and despondency. Eventually, we believe our story and it begins to define us. ‘The Remedy’ is a process that shakes you to wake. As old stories get shaken free, we start to find ‘The Remedy’. Initial consultations provide Justine with the ability to recommend a package specific to your personal needs. ‘The Remedy’ experience may include: • Yoga • Weight bearing, active cardio, roll and release • Somatic techniques • Breathwork techniques • Earthing practices • Focus and mindfulness practices (including principles of traditional and modern meditation) • Trust and surrender practices (including visualisation and journaling) Your initial session will include determining which combination of somatic techniques, breathwork techniques, yoga etc would give the best result along with the most favourable duration of practice time for future sessions.
