Esther has been practising yoga for 30 years and teaching it for more than a decade, specialising in Satyananda and Hatha yoga. Esther believes Satyananda yoga, in particular, helps to handle life’s challenges.
Esther was seven years old when she first felt the calling to become a yoga teacher – she didn’t know what it was called then but she knew deep down it was what she wanted to do. Yoga has since become Esther’s whole life.
With students ranging in ages from seven to 95, Esther loves ... finding authentic, tailored practices to help clients manage their individual mental, emotional and physical health concerns.
Esther offers techniques to manage long and short-term fatigue, anxiety, stress, cancer recovery and auto-immune conditions.
Her yoga classes are small with a maximum of eight and a strong focus on each individual. She ensures she is attentive towards each person and provides modifications so each movement is accessible for everybody.
Esther enjoys giving people a whole new perspective on living so they can learn how to better balance and manage their lives. She loves taking people through this journey, giving them tailored tools like breathing or chanting, and watching things click into place for them.
Having recently finished a certificate in Ayurveda as a lifestyle coach, Esther incorporates this into her yoga therapy, doing things like tongue analysis, colours and oils to bring people into balance. Read more
