About me

Rebecca Cook has worked in the health and wellness industry as a therapist/practitioner since 1999. She is a fully qualified naturopath, herbalist, colon hydrotherapist, doula, reiki practitioner and yin yoga teacher as well as having worked extensively as a remedial massage therapist. Rebecca believes in a gentle individualised approach to her treatment plans. Her specialties include hormone balancing with women’s cycles, postpartum support and care, alkalising and detoxification, autoimmune ... conditions, thyroid conditions and skin conditions. With a combination of herbal medicine and an assessment of individual nutritional needs, she works with and meets her clients where they are at, helping them to make realistic, simple and easy changes to their diet and lifestyle. Each session will move through a sequence that she feels is intuitively right in order to facilitate the highest outcome for each client. This approach to her consultations creates a safe, unique, supportive and personal way of assisting each client. Originally training as a massage therapist after high school, Rebecca worked with a range of physiotherapists and sporting teams before burning herself out physically. She moved to Canada in her mid 20s and worked with a Qigong master, digging more deeply into reiki and energy healing. At 27, she decided to study herbal medicine and naturopathy to support her desire to go deeper and help people more holistically. More recently, she has become a yin yoga teacher, qualified colon hydrotherapist and doula. She now draws on these passions and her experiences and brings these together in her consultations, intuitively calling upon each modality according to the needs of the client. Along the way, Rebecca enjoys enhancing her clients’ knowledge, awareness and responsibility for their health, which in turn supports them in achieving their health goals and sustaining long-lasting results. Rebecca is located in Austinmer on the beautiful south coast of NSW. She also works as a colon hydrotherapist in Cronulla. She looks forward to helping you discover an unlimited and unimpeded free flow of life force energy through body, mind and spirit. Read more

Initial Naturopathic Consultation (Austinmer location)

Rebecca creates a goal-focused treatment plan that utilises herbal medicine, nutritional medicine and lifestyle education. She applies this with ... the use of liquid herbs, individual dietary support, nutritional supplementation, flower essences and homeopathic medicine where needed. This type of treatment plan aims to address underlying dysfunction and restore the body to balance and wellness. During the initial consultation, Rebecca will ask you questions regarding your presenting symptoms, previous health concerns and conditions, diet and lifestyle. In most cases she will also use iridology, nail and tongue diagnosis as well. The goal is to gather as much information about you to create a treatment program that is specific for you. The initial stage of treatment focuses on alleviating symptoms and stimulating the body’s natural processes to commence healing. The second stage of treatment focuses on eliminating the underlying cause of the condition and supporting your full recovery and long-term health. You may require a number of follow-up sessions, depending on the condition. Each session will move through a sequence that she feels is intuitively right in order to facilitate the highest outcome for each client, as this approach to her consultations creates a safe, unique, supportive, and personal way of assisting each client.
