She is passionate about helping to empower women to transform their lives and make positive changes to create long-lasting habits for wellness and better health. Living in a country like Australia that encourages alcohol consumption for every occasion from celebration to commiseration, it can be tough to drop the habit of having a drink after a stressful day, to gather courage at social events or even to get to sleep. A former grey area drinker herself, wine was Cindy’s go-to and she is all too familiar with how easily pouring a glass can become part of your nightly routine. With a background in Defence (Navy), having been a serving member for 13 years and military wife for over 30 years, she understands how this lifestyle can trigger an unhealthy relationship with alcohol. Married with two grown children but now an ‘empty nester’, this void also became a reason for Cindy to discover what else there is for women in mid-life without the need for alcohol. Her own experience as a habitual daily drinker for a large part of her life led Cindy to finally seek the support she needed to get off the alcohol ‘merry-go-round’. Cindy stopped drinking in July 2018 as part of Dry July and couldn’t believe how much better she felt. She was sleeping better, had improved focus and clarity of thought, choosing healthier food options and finding new forms of self-care and relaxation. Through this experience, and the resulting joy and freedom she discovered living alcohol-free, Cindy now follows her soul’s purpose to help other women create a more fulfilling and abundant life without the booze. She takes a holistic approach blending life coaching, reiki and EFT to help people transform their lives. Caring, compassionate and solutions-focused, Cindy helps her clients explore and unpack what is truly happening and dig deep to get to the core underlying issues. She loves helping people find alcohol-free alternatives, discover new forms of self-care and learn to sit in stillness rather than always reaching for a drink. Cindy loves witnessing the “aha” moment when her clients have more energy, feel more productive, are sleeping better and aren’t battling regular hangovers. Live a life that you love without alcohol.
