The shamanic healing system used by the Guarani Indians of Brazil was introduced to Westerners by Alberto Aquas after spending some time in contact with the Kayowa tribe. Ama Deus is an expression of Latin origin, meaning "Love for God". What is Ama Deus? Ama Deus is a powerful, shamanic, energy-based healing system. It uses Divine Love and a series of ancient, nameless, or colored symbols as vehicles for transmitting energy. The symbols are multidimensional and thus both specialized when applied and capable of being used for multiple purposes. Although the system resembles Reiki to some extent in that it seeks to balance the energy centers in the body, the Ama Deus symbols are intended for more specialized actions than those in Reiki. Most of the signs are visualized with the Third Eye. The system is based on the passage of energy through a channel created between man and God, in other words, through an "open gate" for Divine Love, which works in us through the heart chakra. This channel is activated by repeating a certain mantra three times and is supported by a breathing technique combined with powerful visualization.
