Gabrielle is a yoga therapist and teacher who loves to share the joy and benefits of yoga with others. She helps women find lasting wellbeing, a sense of purpose, and renewed hope that life can be filled with joy and ease no matter what it throws your way. A teacher since 2002, Gabrielle takes a creative approach using themes and imagery with smooth transitions between postures. Her guided, inclusive classes are gentle and nurturing, with options and modifications so everyone can participate... A teacher since 2002, Gabrielle takes a creative approach using themes and imagery with smooth transitions between postures. Her guided, inclusive classes are gentle and nurturing, with options and modifications so everyone can participate at their own pace. You are encouraged to move your body in a way that is pain free and in a comfortable range of movement. Many of Gabrielle’s students practice much of the class with their eyes closed (a moving meditation) where body, breath and awareness are moving as one. Gabrielle first came to yoga when she had young children and immediately felt a deep inward connection to it. Doing one class a week, she soon felt drawn towards doing her teacher training and gave up her corporate job to follow a new path. Yoga is now her full time passion. Gabrielle describes yoga as her “rock” – carrying her through the illness and death of her father, navigating her teenage boys and the emotional roller coaster of her menopause at the age of 43. Yoga is her constant companion, her source of strength and her voice of inner wisdom and guidance. Through her own yoga practice, Gabrielle finds clarity, stillness, patience and peace. Teaching others yoga fills her up – she loves practising with her students and seeing them come ‘home’ to themselves, feeling more relaxed and at ease. She finds it deeply satisfying when students make self-care a priority in their busy and often challenging lives. The wisdoms of yoga have been so helpful to her that she loves sharing this with others. Gabrielle compares this to having a fabulous recipe that is just so good you have to share it around. Gabrielle is committed to helping you find peace, happiness and balance in all aspects of life and in every circumstance. In addition to her group classes, short courses and retreats, Gabrielle offers individualised 6 and 12 week programs for woman to breakthrough cycles of exhaustion and over-giving to reclaim their personal vitality and confidence. She also offers a range of self paced programs through her Radiant Wellbeing app. Read more
