Bassam is a rebirthing breathwork therapist, soul astrologer and certified holistic life coach who inspires others to live with passion, purpose and presence. Following a career spanning three decades as a speaker and researcher of consciousness science, Bassam now specialises in guiding wanna-be parents to be BlissBirth ready and certifying a new generation of rebirthing doulas on the Integral Orr Rebirthing Method. Bassam is a rebirthing breathwork therapist, soul astrologer and certified holistic life coach who inspires others to live with passion, purpose and presence. Following a career spanning three decades as a speaker and researcher of consciousness science, Bassam now specialises in guiding wanna-be parents to be BlissBirth ready and certifying a new generation of rebirthing doulas on the Integral Orr Rebirthing Method. Bassam has been teaching meditation for 20 years, including 3.5 years at Cranbrook School in Sydney where he facilitated their mindfulness program. He left Cranbrook in 2013 to spend the next six years sharing meditation across the world, visiting 20 countries and running 90+ spiritual empowerment workshops and retreats. On Bassam’s return to Australia, he became a Reiki Master and studied at Nature Care College to become a certified holistic counsellor and life coach. In 2009, he was fortunate to study with the late Leonard Orr (pioneer of the rebirthing technique and father of modern breathwork) to certify as a rebirthing breathwork therapist. An impassioned advocate of BlissBirth, Bassam knows that new life can be born through bliss instead of pain. Violence starts at birth, but peace begets violence. The birth process turns us upside down and inside out and is “the smoking gun” on how unhappiness is triggered. To overcome this, Bassam helps couples and parents-to-be heal their own birth trauma first prior to conception and delivery. He is also the founder of Youvolve, a coaching community that has helped members worldwide to realise their potential and live their mission. Integrating coaching, astrology, breathwork and meditation, Bassam works one-on-one with clients to do the inner work to live a balanced life both inwardly and outwardly. While he has spent the first half of his life accumulating knowledge and nurturing wisdom, he plans to spend the second half of his life sharing the findings of 35+ years of his learnings to take others on their own inner adventure.
