Learn about how to bring Wayapa® Wuurrk into your life to create wellbeing! For Tracy, Wayapa® Wuurrk is about reconnecting and returning to the connection between our Bodies and collective Mother Earth. Wayapa® is a holistic wellness and healing movement based on ancient Indigenous wisdoms. When we speak about Wayapa®, it draws upon how we can grow a collective consciousness and connection to our Earth, which is where our biodiversity, ecosystems and food systems exist. It is where we can learn from and for, that we are not separate from Earth. There is a real concern around our current agricultural systems not being able to sustain our population by 2050. As a society, many of us are disconnected from our food and where it comes from and as a result the wellbeing of our minds, body, Spirit and Country are being impacted. This is such an important healing modality for us to help share the innate connection that First Nations Peoples of Australia have with Country and how to care for it. It also teaches us as a society that we can come together to make a difference through positive change. Wayapa® is a unique, globally certified wellness modality that is based on ancient Indigenous wisdom that has been developed for a modern day context. The practice of Wayapa® combines ancient earth mindfulness, narrative meditation and storytelling through a physical movement practice in a series of 14 elements to teach participants the importance of connecting into the earth and nature for holistic wellness. Wayapa® : -teaches how earth mindfulness can create individual wellbeing and increase productivity while looking after the planet -shares Aboriginal thinking and culture in an interactive and positive way -can be practiced by anyone and at any time -explains how to live a Wayapa® lifestyle that benefits everyone Benefits of Wayapa include reducing stress, increasing emotional, physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing, and addressing climate anxiety. This one hour workshop can be held face to face on the Sunshine Coast or in the South East Qld area or held online via Zoom. We close the workshop with a bush tea meditation, deep listening and group yarning. Express your interest via a ‘request booking’ to be advised of the next public group session, or if you have at least 5 participants, Tracy will host a private group session. 1 hour $50pp AUD plus GST - In person or online Minimum numbers: 5 Maximum numbers: 30
