Zen Renewal Sacred Journey. Our 2-Hour Mini-Retreat begins with an Opening Meditation & 40-minute Bliss Yoga practice, followed by a short break to prepare & settle in for a beautiful 40-minute Yin Yoga session & finish with a 15-20 minute blissful guided Yoga Nida. Then enjoy a cup of tea (Chai or Herbal) & Chat. We offer authentic (not powder) chai tea with delicious, gluten free, tiger nut milk (the creamiest, yummiest dairy free milk), herbal tea, black tea & coffee (dairy or tiger nut milk) with our delicious home-made Gluten Free Vegan Cacao & Coconut balls. Bliss Yoga helps improve strength & flexibility, relieve stress & improve sleep, encouraging us to listen to our own unique body, with movement & time to relax, we can delve into a deeper understanding of self, letting go of ego & expectation. Bliss Yoga is wonderful for physical health & mental well-being, using breath, movement & relaxation to facilitate a healthy body & a clear, peaceful mind. Yin Yoga is an introspective yoga practice that offers us time & space to turn inward & nurture the calm, quiet centre that is innate in all of us. It is a practice in stillness, patience & non-reactivity, improving our flexibility & ability to respond to stress & dis-ease. Yin Yoga is a slow practice, allowing connection with mind & soul, to find & know ‘you’, your deepest self. Helping to guide you through all the challenges & journeys of life. Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation also known as “yogic sleep” or “effortless relaxation”. It draws our attention inwards & we learn to oscillate between the states of wakefulness & sleep, where our body finds its natural state of equilibrium (homeostasis), the breath balances & becomes quiet, unconscious & conscious aspects of the mind reveal themselves & we fall into an innate state of deep, blissful awareness. Our Zen Renewal Sacred Journey sessions are held one Saturday a month, offering 5 places for each session.

It is a practice in stillness, patience & non-reactivity, improving our flexibility & ability to respond to stress & dis-ease. Yin Yoga is a slow practice, allowing connection with mind & soul, to find & know ‘you’, your deepest self. Helping to guide you through all the challenges & journeys of life. Combining aspects of Buddhist mindfulness practices, Chinese meridian theory & classical yoga to create a deep experience of letting go. In holding grounded poses for an extended time, the fascia, the body’s interconnected energetics, begins to relax & release long-held tensions stored in the body & mind, helping to open the body, focus the mind & nourish the soul. Our Twilight Yin sessions, held the 1st Friday of most months, are a wonderful way to finish the week. As the name suggests, held in semi-darkness to help facilitate introspectiveness & self-examination. Please allow 95-minutes for these sessions, consisting of an 80-minute practice & 15-20 minutes afterwards to enjoy a cup of tea & chat before leaving.
