Malou Koldenhof is a certified RYT 500 yoga teacher, burnout coach, and dedicated wellness practitioner with a heartfelt mission: to help people reconnect with themselves and cultivate balance in body, mind, and spirit. With over 600 hours of teaching experience across the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Thailand, and now Cambodia, Malou brings both depth and breadth to her work, meeting students with compassion and authenticity. Her training spans multiple disciplines, including Hatha, Vinyasa, and Aerial yoga, alongside specialist certifications in pranayama (50 hours) and Yoga Nidra (50 hours). She combines these ancient practices with her professional expertise as a certified burnout coach, offering a holistic approach to stress, trauma, and exhaustion. Her classes and sessions often weave together yoga, breathwork, mindfulness, and coaching with restorative modalities such as crystal bowl sound healing, guided visualisations, and meditative practices. For Malou, yoga has never been simply exercise—it is a pathway back to authenticity. Like many of her students, she once found herself living a life that felt disconnected from her deepest values. Through yoga and meditation, she began to awaken to a sense of freedom and wholeness she had not realised was possible. This personal transformation inspired her to dedicate her life to sharing yoga’s healing potential with others. “Yoga has profoundly changed my life, helped me through hard times, and stimulated deep healing,” she says. “I hope it can be just as helpful for others as it has been for me.” Malou’s teaching is grounded in both mindfulness and philosophy. With a background in Zen Buddhism and ongoing study of non-dual Shaivism, she brings a contemplative and reflective quality to her classes. Her sessions invite students to slow down, notice, and listen—to their breath, their body, and the subtle currents of inner wisdom. This mindful orientation allows students to cultivate not only strength and flexibility but also resilience, clarity, and self-acceptance. Her approach is especially supportive for those navigating stress, burnout, and trauma. Through her coaching, she provides a steady, nurturing space where students can explore practical tools to manage their wellbeing while also addressing deeper patterns of imbalance. By combining yoga with mindfulness and coaching, Malou empowers her clients to develop practices that nourish them on and off the mat. Malou’s work reflects her belief in creating safe, inclusive spaces for self-discovery and healing. Whether guiding a yoga class, leading a meditation, or offering one-on-one burnout coaching, she holds the intention of helping people feel steady, supported, and at home in themselves. Her teaching resonates with those seeking not just physical practice but also spiritual depth and emotional grounding. Today, Malou continues to inspire students from around the world with her thoughtful, integrative approach. Whether in Cambodia, where she now teaches, or through her international retreats and online offerings, she remains committed to sharing yoga and mindfulness as living practices for resilience, healing, and inner freedom.
