Sue is a yoga therapist and teacher who guides you to move towards your personal goals within your unique life path. Yoga is a mind practice and through Sue's careful guidance you will have opportunities to enhance your relationship with your physical body, energetic body, emotional body and self. Sue first discovered yoga over 30 years ago when recovering from a mountain bike accident. Yoga is a mind practice and through Sue's careful guidance you will have opportunities to enhance your relationship with your physical body, energetic body, emotional body and self. Sue first discovered yoga over 30 years ago when recovering from a mountain bike accident. The mindful and gentle physical practices of Asana and meditation made her feel strong, relaxed, aligned, peaceful and full of vitality. For the past 30 years Sue has incorporated various aspects from the vast framework of yoga into her personal daily self-care ritual, which changes in response to her needs as a result of various life changing experiences Sue has encountered. Through self-directed inquiries and the formal studies of yoga, Sue has a broad range of knowledge into the therapeutic applications of Asana, mantra, Vedic Chanting, meditation, mudra, self-reflection and Yogic Philosophy. When Sue’s husband passed away from cancer in 2009, the therapeutic and healing qualities of these practices helped her move towards a deep sense of inner calm. By 2013, Sue had established her yoga business, led by the desire to share the benefits of yoga with others. Sue has a trusted network of Allied Health Practictioners in the Gympei region to whom she refers clients for further investigations and diagnosis if needed. Yoga has personally enriched Sue’s life in so many ways and looks forward to guiding you with yoga and how you may utilise the tools from the vast framework of yoga to support you throughout your own life. Yoga therapy sits within the complete system of yoga and has a specific structural approach depending on an individual’s goals. The content of a private session depends on the unique individual and their goals. Sue draws upon the tradition of yoga and the framework of yoga therapy along with aspects of trauma sensitive yoga, somatic therapy, pilates and complementary studies. Sue educates individuals around the purpose of the practices, anatomy, nervous system, mind, integration of body, mind and soul to enable clients to gain a deeper understanding. Learn how to cope with symptoms and manage yourself well to reduce suffering. Private sessions are ideal for individuals seeking to improve resilience, self-empowerment and self-healing. No previous experience with yoga is necessary. Private sessions are also suitable for people who attend group sessions. Whilst benefits can be experienced in a group setting, private sessions allow complete focus on you and your goals.
