Using the principles and practice of Hakomi psychotherapy, these one-on-one sessions are individually tailored to cultivate relaxation, feel grounded and centred, move held emotions or stress through the body, bring ease to the nervous system and develop resilience. Trauma research shows that trauma gets stored in our bodies via our central nervous system’s response to distress. Understanding and regulating these responses is a crucial step towards healing.
