Lauren is a trained kinesiology therapist with a passion for helping others work through pain and life’s challenges. She is a heart-centred facilitator and guide with the ability to hold space that allows for a deeper connection to one’s self.
According to Lauren, physical and emotional pain are often indicators that stressors or patterns of behaviour are held within the body. Once they are released, you are restored in a way that is based on your body’s natural healing goals.
Lauren uses ... a range of techniques in her practice, including acupressure, neuro-vascular and lymphatic reflex points, chakra and crystal balancing, sound healing and intuitive meditation.
She is passionate about helping people better understand the workings of their mind/body/spiritual systems so that they may be able to release trapped emotions and unhelpful patterns of behaviour. Her clients report feeling more grounded, more balanced and in control of their lives; and emerging from treatment with a renewed, empowered sense of self.
In her past, Lauren suffered from a sleep disorder, digestive disorders, stress, tiredness, lack of energy, brain fog, headaches, low immunity and sore muscles. Visits to numerous medical and complementary practitioners over many years only provided short term relief. After only two to three sessions with a kinesiologist, she began to feel different – she had greater mental alertness, improved metabolism, was less tired and had better overall health and vitality.
Lauren says our body naturally has the inherent ability to return to good health, and under the right conditions we all can tap into our inner resources to create the best outcomes we want in our life. Read more
