Rebecca is a Wayapa Wuurrk and conscious connected / rebirthing breathwork practitioner who aims to teach people how to stay close and connected to the Earth for true wellbeing in body, mind and spirit. Offering her therapies to individuals, small groups and businesses, Rebecca strives to help people remember their cyclical connection to the Earth. Rebecca believes that when we bring our way of being back into the Earth’s rhythms and cycles, we can become well on every level. When the earth is healthy and well, humans are healthy and well. As a psychologist for 25 years, Rebecca has a high level of awareness of trauma and is experienced in holding safe spaces for people, especially those in levels of distress. She previously worked in peri-natal psychology, assisting mothers, and now feels she is helping the Earth “mother of everyone” through her work. Through her practice, Rebecca sees a strengthening of spirit as people come back to life as they return to their truth and connection to the oneness of creation, and take the journey that is truly meant for them. Both modalities allow a shedding of what is old and what no longer serves them. Rebecca believes that when we care for the Earth, she cares for us and that we then walk a strong journey aligned with our gifts and talents. She has been offering Wayapa Wuurrk since 2017 and breathwork since 2019. Read more

Wayapa Wuurrk - Group class

When the Earth is strong and healthy then we are in body mind and spirit. No healthy Earth means no healthy humans or other kin. In this modality, we pay respects to 14 elements and explore our connection to each and our responsibilities. We finish with either a guided earth meditation or a physical movement practice (suitable for all abilities) to embody each element and once we roll up our mats, take active steps towards caring for country. If you feel despair at the direction the world is going this is a form of active hope where we can honour and be the change that needs to take place in the world . Read more

In simple terms, we repair the breathing mechanism by merging our inhale and our exhale. Breathing connected, heart open, expand the chest and let gravity take the exhale. This is how we breathed in the sacred womb waters. When we remember this and merge our inhale and exhale, profound healing can take place and we can safely let go of past traumas lodged in our body. This is a nourishing, restorative practice where we get out of our heads and let the breath and body commune with source wisdom and energy for healing and health. Read more
