About me

Graham Pennington is an international presenter and teacher, published author and recognised expert Bowen practitioner. He has been practising complementary medicine for over three decades and incorporates Bowen therapy, naturopathy, acupuncture and herbal medicine into his consultations. Graham released his book “A Textbook of Bowen Technique – A Comprehensive Guide to the Practice of Bowen Therapy” in 2012 and has travelled and lectured in more than 20 countries on the Bowen technique. ... As a young naturopathic graduate, he was introduced to the Bowen technique when he took over the running of Oswald (Ossie) Rentsch’s clinic in Hamilton in 1989. This unique opportunity presented an intense exposure to the system of therapeutic bodywork that would become an important component of his professional life. In addition to his experience in Hamilton, Graham has also received extensive mentoring and invested many hours observing Dr Romney Smeeton DC in his Geelong clinic. In 1991, he established his busy multi-practitioner clinic in Warrnambool with Ziggy Wang. Together with their team, they have provided more than 150,000 consultations to the people of the Warrnambool region since then. Graham has spent the last 29 years practising, teaching and developing the Bowen technique. In his textbook, he seeks to share his clinical knowledge and experience with the practising Bowen therapist. He prides himself in bringing the best of complementary health care to the wider community and looks forward to welcoming you to his practice. Read more
