Jack is a hypnotherapist and NLP practitioner with more than 30 years experience who learned his skills from some of the world’s best teachers. Seeing people who want to change and are committed to making better choices, Jack treats anxiety, stress, self-image, self-esteem, weight issues, smoking and alcohol addiction. Jack’s approach ensures his clients have the understanding to implement new skills and shape their own future. He uses solution-oriented hypnotherapy which focuses on what the client truly wants now and into the future, letting them identify their needs and desires. Hypnotherapy and NLP are similar in terms of their language patterns and Jack uses both modalities in his sessions according to a client’s needs. He describes the difference in people following a hypnotherapy/NLP session as a “beautiful change” flowing over him, with the frown gone, the eyes brighter and people often saying they feel lighter. Jack first trained in NLP in 1987 under world-renowned NLP Master Trainer Marvin Oka, going on to achieve his own NLP Master Trainer accreditation in 2008. Jack was previously a lecturer at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, and taught in various training programs for corporate, government and not for profit organizations. He won the distinguished teacher award for 12 years out of the 16 he was at RMIT. He put his NLP tools to good use when he realised he needed some extra communication tools to ensure his university students were fully comprehending everything he was trying to convey and modified his communication approach to suit their requirements. Along with running his private practice, Jack also conducts specialist training in government and for personal development in presentation skills, public speaking and training trainers.
