Carolyn specialises in holding calm, grounded space for clients while gently connecting the dots between lived experience, stored stress, and the Energy System of the Body (ESoB). Through her sessions, clients are invited to develop greater awareness of how energy flows through the body — and how blockages in that flow can manifest as pain, tension, fatigue, or emotional overwhelm. Many describe feeling lighter, calmer, and more resilient after working with her, better able to meet life’s challenges with clarity and steadiness. Her path to this work unfolded gradually, shaped by both intellectual curiosity and lived experience. Carolyn began her professional life as a librarian, curating knowledge across diverse libraries, before completing a Master’s degree in French Literature at the University of Montpellier in France. She later worked as a teacher of English and French in Cape Town. While these roles may seem far removed from healing, they cultivated skills that remain central to her practice today: deep listening, pattern recognition, clarity of communication, and a reverence for learning. A pivotal turning point came in 2012, when Carolyn experienced a traumatic episode of full-body paralysis over a single weekend. This profound event revealed how years of unprocessed stress and trauma had been held within her body, and it set her on a path of embodied healing. In 2013, she qualified as a Body Stress Release (BSR) Practitioner, beginning her hands-on exploration of the body’s stress responses. Building on this foundation, she qualified as a Quantum Healing Practitioner in 2019, drawing on principles of energy, resonance, and entrainment to support deeper systemic balance. Carolyn’s work is informed by the lineage of Quantum-Touch, founded by Richard Gordon in the 1970s, and by the teachings of Johanne Werth, who introduced this modality to South Africa and developed the Quantum Healing ZA course. Whether working in person or through Distance Quantum Healing (DQH), Carolyn creates a safe, compassionate environment in which clients remain fully conscious and engaged in their own healing process. Sessions are gentle yet powerful, typically lasting 60 minutes and beginning with a thorough case history. Clients often report deep relaxation, emotional release, reduced pain, and renewed vitality — outcomes reflected in long-standing client relationships and testimonials from individuals navigating burnout, injury, illness, trauma, and high-pressure professional environments.
