Body music in person
A session begins with the warming up of the joints, breathing exercises, and vocal warm ups. From here, it’s stepping and paying attention to feeling whether you’re off balance or holding tension, and using your breath to shake off this unbalance. The remainder of the session is introducing vocal phrases, harmonising with others and combining this with the rhythmic percussion. Using the body as a rhythm machine, the dance practice helps to bring awareness back into the body and creates a sense of balance. Location by arrangement in the area.
