With a unique career that bridges art, therapy, and consultancy, she has spent more than three decades guiding individuals, teams, and organisations toward deeper understanding, authentic connection, and sustainable transformation. Her professional path began in the arts. After studying fine art, art history, and art philosophy, Stephanie dedicated 13 years to her work as a painter. The creative process—marked by sensitivity, reflection, and a search for truth—laid the foundation for her later approach to human systems. Following further studies in management and extensive training in systemic counselling methods and therapies, she turned her focus to personal and organisational development. Since 1995, Stephanie has directed her own consultancy, supporting clients through a blend of systemic insight and practical strategies for growth. In 2018, she founded the FELD INSTITUT in Cologne, Germany, bringing in five partners to create a centre dedicated to systemic work in organisations, leadership, and therapy. Her systemic lens extends beyond consultancy into therapeutic practice: since 2011, she has also worked as a Gestalt therapist, offering clients space for healing and personal reconnection. Stephanie is equally at home in academia and authorship. She lectures on agile organisational development at the university level and provides advanced training in systemic and organisational constellations, where participants learn to perceive the hidden dynamics of human systems. She has written extensively on systemic topics, and her books—most notably The Magic of Connection—explore how awareness of systemic relationships can transform both professional structures and personal lives. In 2019, together with Jürgen Ziemann, she founded CONSTELLATORS INTERNATIONAL, a global platform for constellation practitioners to exchange knowledge, collaborate, and expand the reach of systemic work across cultures. This initiative reflects Stephanie’s enduring vision: to foster meaningful connection, strengthen resilience, and unlock the intelligence inherent in human systems. Born in January 1959, Stephanie is the mother of a grown son and makes her home in Cologne. Her life continues to be shaped by her early artistic sensibilities, her deep trust in systemic processes, and her passion for weaving together creativity, therapy, and organisational leadership. Through her multifaceted work—as a consultant, therapist, trainer, lecturer, and author—Stephanie Hartung has become a respected voice in the field of systemic intelligence. As a CI Senior Constellator and CI Master Trainer, I offer SCBTO Systemic Constellation Basic Training Online Systemic Constellations open spaces where the invisible takes shape and new possibilities flow into life through new insights. They lead into the depths of personal experience and make systemic connections directly tangible. The Online Training in Systemic Constellations, consisting of a total of 90 hours, is designed for people who wish to learn the method and apply it within the psychosocial or body-therapeutic field as a valuable complement to their counselling and support practice. As soon as a group of at least 15 interested participants has come together, I will announce the training dates according to the respective locations of the participants.
