Alison’s gentle group sessions are designed to: - Nurture your nervous system with simple practices you can do at home - Warm and mobilise your joints gently and safely with simple yoga sequences - Build resilience with breath, movement and principles of meditation - Give you simple breath mindfulness practices that you can use in your everyday life to nurture your mental wellbeing These sessions are suitable for beginners or for experienced practitioners wanting a gentle, slow paced, restorative practice. Yoga sessions run in cycles of five weekly 90 minute practices: - Mixed practice yoga on Mondays from 6:45pm to 8:15pm: Open to anyone who wants an easy-going practice with options along the way to develop strength and mobility further if desired - Gentle/ foundations yoga on Tuesdays from 6:30pm to 8:00pm: An easy-paced practice including around 60 to 70 minutes of mindful movement to maintain healthy mobility, balance and strength followed by a 20 to 30 minute deep guided relaxation These group classes are held in-person at the Hub in Huonville and can also be joined via Zoom. This program can also be adapted for an online group for a shorter time frame.
