I am a registered physiotherapist and the founder of TRE® Australia. Please note if you are seeking standard traditional Physiotherapy treatment I do not practice traditional physio as you might expect at your local physio private practice but specialise in TRE & functional & therapeutic breath training. TRE® (originally named as tension and trauma release exercises) provides a trauma-informed understanding of our body, behaviour and way of being in the world. It empowers people with a simple technique to not only heal from stress and trauma, but also to grow and evolve from it. My core purpose is to help build a bridge between the mind and the body by helping people to reconnect with their body in order to live from a place of authentic happiness and joy in creative harmony with others and the Earth. Since 2010, I have been a driving force in the global expansion of TRE® and its use for embodiment, flow states and elite performance in addition to its traditional use for stress prevention and trauma recovery. With a background in Pilates, Bowen therapy and mental health, I have been specialising in TRE® for the last 10 years and now nearly exclusively offer TRE® in my current practice. I provide individual consultations (online and in person), group classes, workshops, retreats and professional training. I am one of the leading TRE® trainers globally. I have taught TRE® to more than 2500 people and trained almost 100 Certified TRE® Providers. I have a special interest and expertise in helping body therapists integrate trauma into their work, as well as helping mental health professionals integrate the body into their understanding and work with trauma. With a global vision for the use of spontaneous movements to help build and create more health, happiness and harmony on the planet, I am particularly passionate about supporting other health professionals on their own journey of healing and growth as well as empowering them to share the gift of TRE® with their clients. No matter whether you are looking for personal support or professional guidance, I look forward to helping you shift your relationship with your body, stress and trauma to enable you to grow, evolve and move forward into the future.
