Michael Taylor is a seasoned New Frequency Healing Practitioner, educator, and Reconnective Healing specialist based in Hobart, Tasmania. With a lifelong curiosity about human potential and well-being, Michael began exploring complementary therapies in the mid-1970s while working as an early childhood teacher — a role that laid the foundation for his deep commitment to empowerment, self-awareness, and holistic health. After a 33-year career in early childhood and adult education, Michael’s path shifted toward energy-based healing. In 2009 he completed his first Reconnective Healing training in Melbourne with Doug DeVito and The Reconnection teaching team, marking the beginning of a practice that would span more than fifteen years. Since then, he has trained as a Reconnective Kids Instructor and maintained his certification in The Reconnection. Michael’s work centres on Reconnective Healing® — an approach to healing and personal transformation that engages with frequencies of energy, light, and information to bring balance, coherence, and innate self-healing potential into a person’s life. His practice emphasises that healing is not about technique, but about interacting with these fundamental frequencies to support physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. A passionate advocate for empowering families, Michael is particularly known for his Reconnective Kids® work, through which he introduces children (and their parents) to the healing frequencies in a playful, accessible way. In these workshops, young people learn to feel and use the frequencies themselves — often applying their knowledge to support their own wellbeing, help family members, pets, and loved ones, and build confidence and calm. Michael works with clients both locally in Hobart and internationally via distance healing, offering sessions designed to reduce pain, promote relaxation, support recovery, and deepen self-awareness. His commitment to healing extends beyond people: he also facilitates Reconnective Healing for animals, helping pets and other animals either in person or through distance sessions. Over four decades of practice, Michael has taught thousands of adults and children to engage with the universal field of healing frequencies, blending his skills as a teacher, counsellor, and practitioner to support others on their path to balance and well-being.
