A Day in the Life of a Spiritual Healer

Every day begins before my eyes even open. Somewhere in that quiet space between dreams and dawn, I set a conscious intention: How can I serve today? How can I remain in alignment with my highest self while holding space for others?
This is not ritual in the traditional sense…it simply is. A rhythm I’ve lovingly crafted through time. A life I’ve chosen not just to live, but to embody.

I stretch beneath the covers, waking up my body and gently coaxing it into motion. Within minutes, I sip warm water infused with fresh lemon, allowing my body to alkalise and awaken from the inside out. Then I step outside - barefoot, of course.

On the grass or along the golden sands of the beach, I walk shortly after sunrise. My dog Mana (her name means spiritual life force in Polynesian) trots alongside me, ears perked, always attuned. The Gold Coast sun rises slowly, flooding the sky with hues of rose gold and orange, its infrared rays wrapping around me like a cosmic hug. It’s more than beauty; it’s biology and spirit synchronising. Vitamin D, light codes, warmth, Earth’s grounding energy - all charging my cells and fine-tuning my frequency before the day begins.

This is my sacred time. Mana and I walk for at least an hour, sometimes two. The world is still quiet, but I am fully alive. I might stop for a coffee with a close friend - one who shares my passion for esoteric topics, consciousness expansion and the mysteries of the unseen. We laugh, muse, ponder deeply. This connection, this communion, both human and divine sets the tone for everything else.

After breakfast and 7000+ steps under my belt, I check in. Bookings come through my website, each one a sacred appointment with someone ready to shift. Today, a client seeks clarity on their life path. They’re standing at a crossroads - confused, uncertain. My role? To guide them toward their own inner compass. Through Energy Coaching[1] and Holistic Counselling[2], I help clients access the wisdom within them - expand their perspective, shift stuck energy and call in the support they need to thrive. It’s a collaboration, an activation. Sometimes it’s gentle guidance; other times revelatory. But always sacred.

Holistic Counselling

Another client who had booked 7 Holistic Counselling sessions as a package has her 5th session today.  I love the chance to delve deeper and support the changes clients wish to see.  Sometimes it's tricky to shift ingrained belief patterns that no longer serve, yet incredibly rewarding when they share their wins and renewed motivation. I’ll also be making up an Australian Bush Flower remedy to support her emotional body as she navigates the changes.

Spirit Clearing

Later, I prepared for something quite different. A Spirit Clearing for an 83-year-old Italian woman who’s been enduring sleep disruptions and strange phenomena for months. Her bedside light flickers inexplicably. She hears indecipherable voices in the night, movements that have no source. She’s a church-going woman who’s already called in her priest, but the disturbances remain.

When I tune in, I sense it’s not the house, it’s her. She’s unknowingly become the host to five curious little “visitors.” Greys. Yes - aliens. Curious but persistent, they’re energetically attached to her. I engage in a telepathic conversation with them - firm, respectful, clear. They meant no harm, but it’s time for them to go. And they do.

Some might raise an eyebrow at this. Others know exactly what I’m talking about. Whether it’s spirits, entities or inter-dimensional beings, the work is not to judge, it’s to observe, communicate and restore balance. This is the essence of what I do: shift energy, restore sovereignty.

Psychosomatic Counselling and Samvahan

Just last week, I held space for a profoundly sensitive and delicate session - one that blended Samvahan[3], an ancient energy healing method using vibrational movement and Psychosomatic Therapy[4] with deep counselling. My client had just endured an unthinkable situation: her sister had taken her own life only days earlier, and she herself was experiencing suicidal ideation and family-triggered trauma. There’s no protocol that prepares you for these moments - it’s all presence, intuition and fierce compassion.

We moved slowly and gently. Samvahan helped bring her back into her body - numb from grief and shock - while the psychosomatic counselling supported her in beginning to process what had happened. This work isn’t about bypassing pain; it’s about honouring it, holding it safely and helping the client stay tethered to life while we gently challenge the thought patterns that can spiral in times of trauma.

My approach isn’t clinical or sterile - it’s human. Sometimes it involves a reassuring hand, an enveloping hug, a psychic conversation, grounded eye contact, or simply sitting in silence with them until they can breathe again. These are the moments where spiritual work meets real-world crisis. Where touch, energy, intuition and presence converge to remind someone they are not alone.

After the session, I wrote a formal letter for her GP - to hopefully assist her doctor in fast-tracking through the hospital for mental health assessment, support and inpatient care.  An important step. She’s now in the right place to begin true healing, and I’m honoured to be a part of that journey.

Crystal Dreaming®

Tomorrow, I hold space for something different again, a Crystal Dreaming[5] session, done face-to-face. It’s a fusion of spiritual healing, shamanic journeying and past life regression. Intense, yes. But also illuminating. Some clients meet their spirit guides for the first time. Others reconnect with lifetimes of wisdom they didn’t even know they carried. There are tears, laughter and profound moments of remembering. And most commonly, liberation and significantly more self-awareness.

Whether it’s one-on-one holistic counselling, spirit clearings or journeying into the soul’s deepest layers, my mission is simple: facilitate transformation through increased awareness, energetic clearing and expanded consciousness.

But with every session, I also take care of myself. After each client, I intentionally clear my own energy field using sacred herbs and a mental ritual I’ve come to trust. It’s vital not to carry one person’s energetic blueprint into the next session. This work is subtle, invisible even - but immensely powerful. Boundaries are essential.

Winding Down

As the late afternoon winds down, I return to a different rhythm - one of domestic simplicity and joy. A visit to the dog park with Lu, my partner, who brings levity and laughter into my world. We’re currently learning to rock ‘n’ roll dance. It’s messy, hilarious and absolutely necessary. Healing doesn’t always look like deep soul dives. Sometimes it looks like twirls, missed steps, belly laughs and holding hands under fairy lights.

Tonight, we join our meditation group online—sixteen souls gathering with a shared intention: to raise the collective vibration. We meditate for the planet, for humanity, for peace, for healing - twice a week. It might sound small. But in the quantum world, energy knows no limits. Our frequencies matter.

And so ends another day.  Oh, not before I call my kids, who are young adults now, embarking on their own adventures.  Regular check-ins are important to me. There’s never a dull moment, often an opportunity to laugh, share motherly advice and keep up with their full lives.

Not every day looks exactly like this. But the essence is always the same: presence, service, love, healing, alignment, expansion.

Being a spiritual healer is not just a job - it’s a way of life. It’s about honouring both the light and the shadow. Being available for others, while also being incredibly committed to your own well-being and expansion. It’s about knowing that the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual are all deeply connected - and healing must be holistic.

And if you're reading this and feeling something stir within you - curiosity, hope, maybe even recognition - follow your intuition…and take action.

After all, the first step on any healing journey is listening to the little whisper within.
