A Day in the Life of a Rapid Transformational Therapist

Not many people have heard of Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT), so a big part of my work is simply helping people understand what it is — and what it isn't. RTT is a powerful blend of proven therapeutic tools, with hypnotherapy at its core. But before we dive in, let’s address the elephant in the room: hypnosis.

The Bugs in Your Mind’s Software

Think of your subconscious like the software running quietly in the background of your life. It’s designed to help you move efficiently through the world by automating your habits, emotional reactions, and beliefs, so you don’t have to consciously relearn how to live every single day.

But... what happens when that software has bugs?

Imagine running an old program, installed 20 years ago, that no longer serves you — or worse, actively sabotages your goals. Trying to simply overwrite it with positive thinking isn’t enough. You have to find the outdated code and remove it first.

That’s where RTT comes in.

I guide my clients to uncover those hidden beliefs and emotional patterns — the ones quietly influencing their decisions, reactions, and self-image. Together, we bring these patterns into the light and start rewriting the story — not from the surface, but from deep within.

Before We Begin: The Discovery Call

Before we even have a formal session, we start with a discovery call. This is one of my favourite parts.
It’s where you get to ask all your questions, and I walk you through what RTT is, how hypnosis works, and — most importantly — what you can expect.

This is also where many of the biggest fears disappear.
When you understand that you’re safe, in control, and awake the entire time, any lingering doubts usually melt away.

Now, tell me what you want, what you really really want..

Then we move into the intake process. Here, we get clear on what you want to work on: a habit, a mindset, or an emotional pattern. And maybe for the first time in a long time, you’re invited to imagine what you truly want—not what you fear, not what you're running from, but what you're moving toward.

Even before hypnosis begins, a kind of magic starts happening here.

Going Deeper: The Session Itself

Once we move into the session, transformation often begins early on. I guide you into a deeply relaxed state — your brain shifts into alpha waves, a frequency associated with calm focus.
Spoiler alert: you experience this same state naturally when you’re absorbed in a movie, relaxing on a massage table, or daydreaming.

Let's stop here and talk Ads.

Do you know why advertisers love to show you products during a movie? It’s because your subconscious mind is more receptive during that relaxed, focused state. And since your subconscious communicates through images, repetition becomes a powerful tool in (re)programming it.

Why does this matter?

Because your subconscious loves what’s familiar. It craves it. It equates familiarity with safety. When it’s exposed to something frequently, it becomes familiar with it, whether it’s good for you or not. That’s why changing habits using willpower alone is so difficult: your mind is wired to hold onto old patterns, even if they’re holding you back.

But with hypnosis, we gain direct access to the part of you that's been running the show—behind the scenes.
This is why advertisers can make you want to buy their product without you even realising it. Now, imagine using that same power to change your life, heal old wounds, or unlock your true potential.

Back to our session...

Throughout the session, I gently guide you on a journey back to the origin of the limiting beliefs or emotional patterns you've been carrying. We don’t just put a positive "band-aid" over it. We find out where it came from, how it started, and why it took root.

You get to see your past through a new lens — a lens of understanding, compassion, and freedom. And from that place, we begin planting new thoughts, new beliefs, and new emotional anchors — ones that match who you truly are and what you truly desire. It’s not about fixing you. It’s about freeing you. RTT removes the layers — old stories, outdated fears, false identities — that have been hiding your essence all along.

After the Session: It's Not the End. It's a Work in Progress

Many clients tell me they feel like they've run a marathon after a session. And it makes perfect sense.

Carrying old emotional wounds takes energy. Suppressing or ignoring them? Takes even more.

Finally facing and releasing them allows the body to respond, to finally let go.

In the three weeks that follow, you’ll listen daily to a custom-made recording I create just for you.
It’s based on your words, your dreams, your vision — not some generic affirmation track from the internet.

I often weave in almost fairy-tale-like imagery because your subconscious responds best to rich emotions and pictures, not logic. Each time you listen, you're reinforcing the new pathway, embedding the new belief, rewiring your mind. This daily practice is what transforms a powerful one-time experience into a lasting new reality.

So... What’s It Really Like?

It’s gentle.
It’s profound.
It’s sometimes emotional.
It’s often empowering.
And always — it’s about remembering who you truly are.

You don’t become someone new. You finally come home to yourself.

What Is It like for Me?

I absolutely love this work. The more I dive into it, the more I’m in awe of how much our past shapes our present—and how much power we have to take it back. There’s something truly magical about seeing the "AHA" moments on my clients’ faces when they realise that so much of their life has been based on misconceptions. It never gets old, and it keeps me coming back for more.

For over 25 years, I've been fascinated by the power of the mind, starting with my own journey into self-hypnosis. Even now, I can’t help but be mesmerised by how profound the mind's influence is. We all have our passions and missions—big or small. Mine is about discovering potential, starting with my own.

Every day, I meditate, I pay attention to the stories I tell myself, and I reflect on my own programs and reactions. Sometimes I catch myself thinking, "Wow, I’m just like my mum!" But that’s where the magic happens—it deepens my compassion in ways I never expected. It helps me understand myself and others on a much deeper level.

On a practical level, whenever I face a challenging situation, I turn to my breathwork and my knowledge of the mind to help me centre myself. Life constantly presents us with difficulties, and while we can't avoid deep-seated fears, sadness, or anger, we can choose how we respond. With the right tools and a bit of practice, understanding our inner mechanisms can be truly transformative. Every step forward is a reminder that we can always make the choice to respond better, to rise above, and to grow.
