A Day in the Life of an Animal Therapist

My official ‘day’ starts in bed! Upon waking, I spend about 30 minutes doing energy work on myself to clear, heal and protect my body and field using light visualisations as guided. I also send love and light to my own animals so they wake up with some nice energy.

For me, the shower has become quite significant as it’s the place where I send gratitude and prayers for me and my loved ones and any other beings on my radar at the time, including trees and animals in need.

After breakfast for me and my animal friends, I do my morning practice:  a combination of yoga and strength exercises and more energy work to clear, ground, charge and protect my field and give thanks, as well as sending clearing, healing and protection to the land where I live and my home and space. This sounds like a lot, but it takes about 20 minutes (or even a 10-minute version when I’m short of time).

Next, it’s time to start work. I check and respond to any emails or messages and proceed with my first energy healing for the day.  In preparation, I ask for spiritual help and protection from guidance and that of the animal’s, and start to tune into the animal. It could be from a photo, or if I already know them, just using their name and visualising them. I telepathically make contact and see what messages come through, and ask for their permission to do a healing. I also often use my colour cards and an aura drawing to gain deeper insight and then write down what I have received.

I then prepare myself to conduct a remote energy clearing and healing, targeting any specific areas or concerns, sending healing energy through my hands and visualising the clearing and healing happening for the animal, using various colour vibrations and channelling love, light, healing and peace as I work through energy systems, chakras and organs, etc. aiming to work down to a cellular and subatomic level. This takes approximately 30 minutes.

Sometimes, there’s extra energy work required, such as space clearing of the animal’s environment, or doing some clearing and healing work on whole situations connected to the animal from their past or current experiences, or for unusual behavioural concerns.

Once the healing session is completed, I give thanks to all involved, disconnect from the animal’s field and clear my energy, reground and recharge.

After recording what I have done and found in the healing, I make contact with the animal client’s person and share that information with them.

A short break, and it’s time for the next one.

I would normally do 2- 3 healing sessions in a day, and like to go for a walk and do more yoga and strength exercises in the afternoon.

At the end of the day, I have a ritual of sending love, light and gratitude to all aspects of nature, including the Earth and different species, nature spirits and light beings and to any specific animals in need to help all and put me in a beautiful space of gratitude and appreciation.
