A Day in the Life of a Craniosacral Therapist and Shamanic Healer

Most of my days begin the same way — slowly, intentionally, and with presence.
When I first wake up, I spend a few minutes lying quietly next to my sleeping son, gently setting the tone for the day. I invite in the energies I would like to experience: alignment, victory, miracles, and peace. It’s a soft but powerful practice that helps me create from intention, rather than reaction.
Once I get out of bed, I move my body — sometimes it’s a short yoga flow I put together myself, sometimes it’s following a YouTube video. I’ve learnt that when I stretch and move first thing in the morning, it becomes easier to notice the emotions, tensions, or energetic patterns that arise, and shift them before they embed into the day.
Then comes the whirlwind of mum duties: making breakfast, packing the daycare lunchbox, getting my son ready, and the daycare drop-off. After that, I return home to prepare for my clients. Some come to see me in my healing room; others I meet online.
Setting up my healing space is quick, not because I rush it, but because I’ve cultivated deep energetic agreements with my Spirit Guides and helpers. When I set the intention, the space is prepared in seconds, aligned exactly as needed: grounded, clear, and ready to hold whatever the day will bring.
Holding Space: Every Session is Different
Each client session unfolds differently, depending on what they need. I work intuitively, allowing Spirit to guide me towards the priority for the session. Sometimes it's hands-on craniosacral therapy work — listening to the subtle rhythms of the body through gentle touch. Other times, it's energetic and shamanic healing, working across quantum levels to clear ancestral patterns, past life imprints, entity attachments, or inner child wounds.
What excites me about this work is how broad the spectrum is. We might address physical issues like chronic pain or frozen shoulders, or dive into deep spiritual healing across timelines and dimensions. Every session is a learning experience — not just for the client, but for me too.
When the session is complete, I energetically cleanse and close the space, honouring both the client’s journey and the sacredness of the work.
Living the Work: Healing Is Ongoing
A big part of my day is also about staying attuned to my own inner world.
If I notice certain emotions rising, patterns of behaviour emerging, or a sense that something isn’t quite aligned, I take the time to tune in and ask myself what’s needed. This could mean using breathwork, doing energy work on myself, or simply resting and allowing space for the feelings to move through.
Sometimes it’s as simple — and as profound — as giving myself permission to slow down and listen.
For me, it's important to live a life that is congruent with the spiritual beliefs and practices I hold and what I teach my clients. Healing is not something I offer from a distance, it’s something I walk every day.
In between sessions, I also spend time managing the administrative side of my business — responding to bookings, creating new offerings, connecting with my community, and keeping my practice evolving.
Continued learning is woven into my life, too. I make space to read books, listen to podcasts, and follow teachers or healers who resonate with my own path. It keeps me open, curious, and always deepening in the work.
Ending the Day: Returning to Myself
At the end of the day, after the busyness of work, family life, and everything in between, I keep things simple.
I don't have a formal closing ritual. Instead, once I’m finally in bed, I lie quietly and offer gratitude for everything that has unfolded — the lessons, the blessings, the challenges.
As I drift towards sleep, I bring gentle awareness to my body, noticing what sensations or emotions might be arising, without needing to fix or change anything. It’s a way of coming home to myself, of staying connected to my own inner landscape, even as the day dissolves into rest.
Every day is different. Every client is different. But the common thread that runs through it all is this:
- A commitment to presence.
- A reverence for the unseen.
- And a trust in the body’s — and the soul’s — innate wisdom to heal.
It’s not a job. It’s a calling. And I feel deeply grateful every day to be living it.
