How do I block out my availability in my calendar?
When setting up your calendar, you would have been required to allocate normal working hours and availability to receive client appointments.
Once completed, your clients would be able to book a time either on the spot or to be confirmed, providing a seamless booking process.
Keep your clients informed and manage your schedule effectively with our improved "Block Time" feature. You can reserve specific time slots to prevent new bookings during your unavailable periods. If you need to be unavailable over a block of time, as a one-off, e.g. holidays, you are attending a course, or for other personal reasons, then you can elect to block out time rather than change your working hours. Your client will then receive an email notification with an option to add it to their calendars, ensuring clarity and preventing double bookings.
Blocking out availability
- Go to Dashboard > Calendar
- Click "Block" on the right
- A pop-up window will appear that will enable you to nominate specific dates and times that you would like to block.
