Cancer Wellness Support’s story is one that is true to the belief that the power of one - one person, one idea, one group, and one community - can create a place of meaningful and personalised care.
On 20 June 2025, we'll be coming together for our Emerald Dinner at the beautiful Lakeside Restaurant in Penrith to celebrate 20 years of continuous affordable cancer care for local people living with cancer.
Beyond the celebrations of this milestone event, your support will kickstart our Capacity Building Fund, ensuring we can continue to grow and support our local community for years to come.

About Cancer Wellness Support
In 2005, our founder Robyn Yates OAM gathered a group of like-minded people to build a funding source and attract highly qualified therapists to form Blue Mountains Cancer Help (now Cancer Wellness Support).
20 years later, as a locally based not-for-profit organisation serving the Blue Mountains, Penrith and Hawkesbury regions, we proudly operate our head office and wellness centre in Leura, a wellness centre in Penrith, and Op Shops in both Katoomba and Penrith.
While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same:
We are guided by our social purpose of supporting individuals and their families living with cancer by removing the financial barriers and accessibility constraints of complementary therapies.
We have been 100% self-funded since inception through our Op Shops, fundraising activities and the generosity of our community.
