A Dream Board To Create Your Dreams

A Dream Board To Create Your Dreams

We don't have to wait until the New Year to start taking steps to bring energy to our dreams. Every day we have a choice for new beginnings, new opportunities, new growth, new dreams. Why not seize the day and consider - what would you want to bring into your reality by sending your intentions into a world filled with possibilities?

In a life that is busy and filled with distraction, how do we call to what it is we yearn for? How can the distraction be turned into attraction? Enter… Dream Boards!

Dream Boards are a wonderful manifesting tool. They act as a visual prompt to remind us of what we can attract into our lives. Think of it as a personalised order to the Universe. A kind of “This is what I would like, now go about the business of delivering it to me.”

The Dream Board concept is based on the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction responds to your thoughts. A belief is a thought you think. When your beliefs match your desires, then your desires become your reality. It’s that simple!

The Law of Attraction

Consider what you would like to attract into your life. A fulfilling career, a sun-soaked holiday or becoming a published author. If you can dream it, you can achieve it. Now it’s just about the tools to use. The Dream Board is a powerful and effective tool.

How to Create Your Dream Board...

1. Capture dreams through visuals

Look for meaningful images, words, phrases or quotes in magazines or on the internet that resonate with your desires and dreams.

It could be images that portray your dream holiday destination, how you would like to feel, your health routine, your soulmate, a new job. Each picture should exude uplifting and motivating energy that inspires you when you look at it.

2. Have fun and arrange your visuals, creatively

Next, arrange your pictures and words on a piece of cardboard or on an old backing frame. Glue them down in a way that appeals to you.

You may like to collage the pictures in a random fashion or place them around the borders with words in the centre. There is no wrong way. Allow yourself to be led by the creative process.

3. Put your Dream Board in a prominent place

Finally, display your Dream Board in a location where you can view it daily. You might like to place it next to your bed so it is the first thing you see in the morning and the last thing you see at night.

You might like to hang it in your office, where you get dressed or on the back of the toilet door!

If a traditional Dream Board doesn’t float your boat, you might like to explore other options.

You could make a dream journal, a Pinterest board, a word or meaningful quote board or a photo board. An object space might inspire you or there are an assortment of Dream Board apps you can access such as the Hay House Vision Board or Wish Board apps.

Whichever you choose, make it easy to use and meaningful to you.

Now that your Dream Board has taken form, affirm your desires. This will act as a reminder of the things you are manifesting that are making their way to you.

Get excited and know that your dreams are transforming and destined to appear as miracles in your life. Now, who could dream for more than that?
