About me

After working in tourism for many years, Emma was guided to yoga teaching by her inner compass towards a life of meaning, connection and healing.

Her own adventures all over Australia by way of air, sea and land gave her incredible opportunities to delve deep into her own healing, guiding her to people, places and experiences to look within. 

A yoga and meditation teacher for five years and an intuitive Balinese massage therapist for two, Emma works with clients to help them heal, calibrate ... their bodies and minds; and ease problem areas through her massage.

Based in far North Queensland, the location is integral to Emma’s practice as she teaches from a covered outdoor space in a beautiful natural environment. Emma acknowledges being on country with wisdom from Traditional Owners of the land.

She has recently collaborated with Jarramali Rock Art Tours, offering yoga and massage alongside cultural tours conducted by the Traditional Owners.

Emma finds it a constant joy to share her own discoveries and see people come alive through their own learnings as they participate in her classes.

Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga

The traditional name for this lineage in which I teach from is called Shri Vidya, which loosely translates to 'knowledge of the supreme'. 



Hatha ... = the balancing of the masculine and feminine energies within 

Vinyasa = flowing movement assisted by the breath 



All classes begin with a 15 minute meditation which includes setting intentions, pranayama [breathing techniques] and stillness, followed by one hour of yoga asanas [postures] - sequencing, and 10-15 minutes of savasana [deep relaxation]. 



Benefits of this practice will help to calm the nervous system, improve core strength and flexibility, increase focus, clarity, energy, confidence and offers you a safe place to be as you are, and to come home to the divine truth which exists within. 



Classes are offered three times per week: 


MONDAY: 6:00am - 7:30am 

WEDNESDAY: 6:00am - 7:30am 

FRIDAY: 6:00am - 7:30am
